How much does Inclusion cost?

Inclusion is a Software as a Service (SAAS) product. There is no upfront cost, and fees are paid monthly. Fees are based on the number of employees in an organization, as well as what system areas your employees need to access. We are happy to send out detailed pricing upon request. We could do rock, paper, scissors to see if you pay at all – ok, maybe not.


Is this a software program that gets installed on our computers?

No, this is a web-based program that can be accessed from any computer. All you need is an authorized user name and password. Easy-peasy.

How can I see how the system works and what it looks like?

We are happy to share a screen and provide a full, detailed overview of any or all system areas for any group of employees you would like. If you would like the overview recorded, just let us know and we can forward the recording to you for your reference/sharing. The recording will not self-destruct ten minutes after you receive it!

What does your system include?

System areas include scheduling, Shiftshark (the tool we built to fill last-minute shifts), Shift Bidding, time verification (devices, phone log-in or electronic timesheets), manager approvals, hours allocation, automatic pay rule calculations, full payroll module, (including t4’s, ROE’s, managed remittances, managed direct deposits), journal entry exports and HR (including tracking of training and certifications with automated reminders, document storage, customizable notes). The system does not include free puppies – but how sweet would that be?


We are not very good with computers – how do we learn this system?

We provide a series of training activities including on-site training, video, and screen share learning. We also keep track of how everyone is learning along the way and provide additional live support to those who need it. We know not everyone’s a nerd – but we also like nerds!

How much training will our staff require on your system? How is training delivered?

We have a 12-20 week implementation process including live on-site training, full support from a dedicated project manager, mock runs, mirroring, validation, and customized user guides. It’s like a spring romance- we won’t leave each other’s side – until you tell us it’s you, not us.

How does support work?

0We have live support available from 8 a.m. each morning until 5 p.m. CST. You can call or email us. We also have emergency after-hours support. Good news – you get to speak to a human!


How long has Inclusion been around?

The Inclusion System has been developed through our experience with community living organizations over the last ten years. The makers of Inclusion have been in business since 1998. The owners are like – old.

Where do you have customers?

We have customers Canada wide, with between 50 – 2000 employees in their organizations. We probably work with one of your neighbors and can give you names, numbers, and addresses – if you want to get out of the office! 

Where is Inclusion System located?

Our head office is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba where the people are friendly and houses are economical. Come visit us – but maybe not in February when temperatures are Pluto-like.

What happens to our data if you go out of business or we end the relationship?

If you choose to leave you will have access to all your data through our reporting tools. Most reports would already have been created that you require, but if you need additional support, we will take care of you. Please don’t go!

What makes Inclusion System different?

Inclusion was developed with and for the community living community. Users just like you have provided input and insights to ensure the system works for your unique challenges. Even better, we will continuously improve features based on our customers telling us what they need and want. All we think about and all we do is figure out how to make you happy!

Do I have to sign any long-term contracts?

No, our agreements cover only a 30 day notice period. Our customers don’t have to stay with us. They choose to stay, but breaking up is easy to do.


Can I try before I buy?

Absolutely! We have extended, fully supported free trials for our full system or mobile app. We even have free cookies! Seriously.

Why can’t I set-up a free trial online?

There are many variables we need to fully understand your employee scheduling, pay rules, and Human Resources details. Creating your fully functional test drive that mirrors parts of your existing system will allow you to assess in detail how well Inclusion works for you. Why get a no-frills, no-help partial trial when you can get the full meal deal – at the same price-free?

How do I get started?

Call us and we can make arrangements to either set up a test drive or discuss what is involved in setting up the Inclusion system. We will drive right over – well unless you are too far away and it’s winter or foggy or…


Is my information secure?

Yes, your data is safe, secure, and only accessible to authorized personnel in your company. We have protocols in place for physical security, network security, data storage security, data back-up security, data transfer security, data sharing security, employee security and password security. You can feel secure about our security!

Is the data hosted in Canada?

All of our web systems are hosted on secure web servers – located in Canada – using 128-bit encryption technology. We have a more detailed security document that we are happy to send out upon request. We also have snipers posted at our office doors – just kidding!
