Ruby Reimer, Executive Director of Epic Opportunities, is passionate about helping people with intellectual disabilities live their best lives in Manitoba. Inclusion is the foundation of everything her organization does.

“It’s important for people to live the life of their choosing,” Ruby says. “Everyone deserves to make their own choices, feel valued, and be respected.”

Epic Opportunities started as a place where people with intellectual disabilities can belong and thrive. They focus on building connections—because, as Ruby puts it, loneliness is the real disability. By helping people form meaningful relationships with family, friends, and their community, Epic Opportunities gives them the support they need to lead rich, fulfilling lives.

Finding the Right Fit

When it came time to upgrade their systems, Ruby and her team knew they needed something tailored to their specific agency needs. That’s when they turned to Inclusion System.

“We chose Inclusion System because of their knowledge of our sector,” Ruby explains. “They’re invested in understanding what we need and what other agencies like us need, and their system has been developed specifically for that purpose.
